Hello! My name is Victoria Cooley. Welcome to first grade! I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year. This year will be a great adventure and I look forward to journeying with you and your family.
I am a graduate of Hope College and spent three years teaching in Holland, MI followed by three years teaching in Maastricht, The Netherlands. I have been at HPS since 2012 where I have taught English Learner students and first grade. I have a Master’s Degree in Education with an emphasis on Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. I love teaching reading, writing, phonics, and all things language!
I currently live in Hudsonville with my husband, Matt (who teaches second grade here at GES), our son, Willem (4), and our loving bulldog, Zoe. We love to travel, cook, read, and spend time outside- kayaking, swimming, and hiking. I look forward to working with your child and the Hudsonville Community.
